Films directed by women, in theaters and streaming. What to watch this week and where to see it.
Why
Women are half the population. Yet only a small share of the films we watch are directed by women.
So what if, every time we sat down to watch something, we chose a film by a woman? One ticket, one stream, one movie night at a time. Studios make more of what we watch. If enough of us choose her film, they will make more of them.
That’s the whole idea. Every week, we make it easy.
